Texas Family Life™ iis a Texas nonprofit, tax exempt corporation established by and affiliated with the ETS Sponsorship Program and Onward Ops. Texas Family Life is exempt from federal income tax as an organization described in Section 501 (c)(3). The charity was organized to address new veteran food insecurity as identified from enrollments into the the U.S. Army Soldier for Life – ETS Sponsorship pilot program with III Armored Corps, headquartered at Fort Cavazos, TX.
In January 2023, Humana Government Services contracted ETS Sponsorship to provide anonymized insights into the longitudinal activity of program participants that received food insecurity support. The contract pays for the administrative support required by the program. The information learned provides valuable insights in shaping future efforts. As such, the activity generates revenue that can be applied to "overhead" without drawing from charitable contributions.
In May 2023, Pentagon Federal Credit Union Foundation provided funding for food spend in support of the initiative. One hundred percent (100%) of all food spend contributions pass on to program participants through TRU™ Visa Debit cards.
Building on the Texas Family Life experience, ETS Sponsorship® is developing additional TRU™ technology pilots to advance social welfare and charitable programs for transitioning service members and veterans. It is anticipated that these activities will be organized state-by-state through the formation of additional 501(c)(3) organizations affiliated with ETS Sponsorship and Onward Ops.
